What I do

I have a long history of being involved in the sports and fitness worlds. Ever since I was a kid, I have been involved in competitive sports such as dance, golf, volleyball, and softball. After high school, I played varsity softball at Ohio Northern University then transferred to The Ohio State University where I played club softball. I earnecd my bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Science in 2013.

I continue my passion of combining fitness and health care by attending graduate school at Nova Southeastern University where I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016. During this time, I found CrossFit and have been involved with the methodology in some shape or form since 2013.

Currently, I am a women’s health board certified clinical specialist who specializes in addressing pelvic health concerns within the prenatal and postpartum spaces. I am also a member of the APTA Pelvic Health Academy Health and Wellness Committee providing resources to the general public and to other physical therapists.

Not only do I believe and promote a lifestyle filled with a variety of movement options (including strength training, functional fitness, CrossFit, yoga, pilates, dance, walking, hiking, whatever you want!), I also believe in the power of manual therapy, trauma-informed care, nutrition, mental health counseling, spirituality, proper sleep, energy work, and autonomic nervous system management in order to improve your quality of life.
